The spiraling tale of Kellen Winslow Jr. is only getting worse.
The 10-year NFL pro and former Jets tight end is facing more charges, these for lewd conduct, for incidents that allegedly took place while he was out on bail.
Winslow, the son of the Hall of Fame tight end, was facing charges of kidnapping and rape that could land him for in prison for life when he posted $2 million in bail in July. Given temporary freedom, the 35-year-old is now also accused of multiple incidents of lewd conduct.
A 77-year-old woman says that on Feb. 13, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Winslow began touching himself at a Carlsbad, Calif., gym and asked the woman if she liked it. On Feb. 22, the same woman said she was in a hot tub at the gym when Winslow, wearing just a towel, got in and approached her.
According to the report, the woman said Winslow touched her arm. When she got out of the hot tub to report his actions, he touched her foot, she said.
Winslow pleaded not guilty to the latest charges — two counts of lewd conduct, one count for battery of an elder and one count for willful cruelty to an elder. On Monday, the judge revoked bail and ordered Winslow jailed again.
He is still awaiting trial on allegations he raped two transient women, both in their 50s. A third woman claims Winslow raped her when she was an unconsious 17-year-old at a San Diego party, when he was 19. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Winslow, a 2007 Pro Bowler with Cleveland, last played in the NFL in 2013 with the Jets.
